This page explains how Kunkel Engineering handles the personal data you share when you get in touch.
Who is responsible for your data
Kunkel Engineering, run by Adam Kunkel in Skellefteå, Sweden, is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach me at contact@kunkel-engineering.com.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I receive your name, your company (if you enter it), your email address and your message.
If you email or call me directly, I receive the details you choose to share.
Why I use it
Your details are only used to answer your enquiry and to discuss a possible assignment with you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to people who contact me, and taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
Your details are never sold or used for marketing.
How long I keep it
Messages are kept until your enquiry has been handled and closed. They are then deleted.
Who else handles it
Messages are stored with the provider that hosts this website and its database, and delivered to my inbox through Google Workspace. These providers only process the data on my behalf.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. When they do, they rely on safeguards approved by the EU, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Just email contact@kunkel-engineering.com.
If you think your data is being handled incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.
